Description

This course forms part of the Foundation Level in the ICB Office Administration Programme. It looks at how the law affects us all. Even our most basic day-to-day decisions have legal implications. In business, basic knowledge of legalities that underlie the world of commerce is paramount. The aim of this course is to make South African law understandable and to answer common questions about the law in layman’s terms. It is important to note that laws are not static – they change over time, and new laws are promulgated from time to time. The topics covered in this course range from the basics of the South African legal system, to commercial laws involving contracts and litigation.
