December, the final month of 2018 is here.  It’s time to reflect on the year that was and look to a new and exciting year ahead.

So, what all did SACOB get up to this year?

  • The launch of our Blended Learning Programme
This is definitely one of our top highlights – SACOB went from a Distance and Online learning college to a college that now offers a ICB face to face classes in conjunction with our Online Learning resources.

Our Blended Learning approach saw great success with us boasting a 100% pass rate and having many of our students find themselves on the Top Achievers lists.

Well done to our students and very dedicated team of lecturers, tutors and course advisors and co-ordinators.
  • Top Achievers List
It’s no secret we love good results, we love to achieve great pass marks and we love to hear our students success stories.
Out of all the hundreds and thousands of students, SACOB students made us extremely proud again this year by consistently ranking on the Top Achievers lists – making SACOB one of the top colleges! It means we are doing something great! ☺
  • Our Travel and Tourism Qualification went fully Online
After a lot of background work and development we were very excited to be able to take the support up a notch by going fully online for our Travel and Tourism students. This qualification is certainly going places and what’s even better, it can take you places. Stay tuned for what we have in store…or chat to a course advisor now. ☺
  • Mandela Day
One of our highlights every year since we first opened our doors. Having the opportunity to give back where we can is something we will continue to be proud of and this year was no different, we gave away R100 000 in savings to honour Madiba, the father of our nation.
  • New Project Management Short Course
We took our students requests into consideration when we decided to launch our SACOB Project Management course. No matter the project, be it work orientated or within your personal life, projects need to be planned and controlled from start to finish to ensure the specific goals are achieved. Our students have helped make themselves indispensable by upskilling themselves with sought after Project Management skills.

2018 will be a year to remember and a hard one to top but in true SACOB style we always try to outdo the previous year and 2019 will be no different.

What we have in store for 2019…

Great news! Blended Learning (Online Classes + Face to Face Classes) for the following qualifications:

ICB Financial Accounting Stream

AT (SA) Financial Accounting Stream

CTH – Travel and Tourism Level 3

This means that for all the above courses you will be able to log on to the Online Classroom anytime, anywhere AND attend actual Face to Face Classes too in both JHB and CPT. All material, exam fees and tuition included.

Live webinars and Coaching

This will be a new feature for many of our courses and qualifications. We get that as much as you would like to, not everyone can attend the actual face to face classes.

We are super excited about this! This way no matter where you are based, if you have internet connection you too can receive the benefits of face to face classes and achieve those top results.

Remember! Register this year, thrive next year…

  • The sooner you start investing in your studies, the sooner you increase your chances of making your dreams come true
  • Increasing your employability status and climbing that corporate ladder sooner rather than later
  • Get your name first on the list – avoid the new year rush and possibly limiting your enrolment options by securing your place today
  • Beat the fee increase – January is a tough month for everyone, start paying off your studies this year to help make next year more affordable, after all, fees do go up at the beginning of every year
