Admissions
SACOB’s Admissions Desk incorporates the SACOB Student Entrance Admissions and Conduct Procedure as well as the Policies and Procedures of our accrediting bodies. Admissions is concerned with age, prior and accredited learning and previous work experience. The admissions desk deals with quality management, student fees, student admissions criteria, assessment procedures, privacy, security and terms of use.
- Admissions Policy and Procedure
SACOB supports the admissions guidelines on the South African Qualifications Framework (SAQA) and the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). We are accredited by numerous Quality Assurance bodies and Institutions both Nationally and Internationally. Aside from SACOB’s own Student Entrance Admissions and Conduct Procedure these Institutions all have their Policies and Procedures.
- Student Fees
SACOB’s fees are straightforward with no hidden costs. Students pay for a full learning programme or a short course with either the support package, digital support package or the online classroom package. SACOB’s fees exclude VAT and institute registration and exam/assessment fees.
All fees for our Learning Programmes and Short Courses exclude the Institute Fees. We will do our best to assist you where we can by providing you with the necessary information and forms. If you would prefer, SACOB will complete all forms and submit on your behalf, all you need to do is pay the necessary fees such as membership fees, annual fees, exam fees, exemption fees directly to the Institute.
Fees are payable by EFT, credit card or on terms. Students can enrol online through the website. You can either pay using your credit card, or we will email you a pro-forma invoice and then you can make an EFT payment and email or fax us the confirmation document or you can go to the bank and make a deposit into our account and fax us or email us the deposit slip. Paying by EFT will mean you will receive a 5% discount. We also have terms available when purchasing a single course or a learning programme. For a single course 50% deposit by EFT / Bank deposit. The balance is then payable over three months with no intetest. For a learning programme, 20% deposit by EFT / Bank deposit. The balance is then payable over a certain amount of months. The payment period is calculated based on the number of courses you have bought x 3 months. Eg. You enrol for ICB Junior Bookeeper which is 4 courses, you will have to pay 20% deposit and the remaining balance will be paid over 12 months (4 courses x 3 months). SACOB has recently teamed up with EDULOAN to provide our students with a variety of different payment options.
