ICB Junior Bookkeeper

This programme is the first designation in the ICB Accounting Certification Programme. The Junior Bookkeeper can complete all the functions of the Accounts Clerk, Debtors Clerk, Creditors Clerk and Payroll Clerk and is an integral member of the accounts department in any organisation. The programme includes a study of business communication and numeracy, basic bookkeeping to trial balance, basic conditions of employment, SARS registrations and submissions, payroll bookkeeping and computerised accounting.

ICB Junior Office Administrator

This programme is the first designation in the ICB Office Management Certification Programme. The Junior Office Administrator can complete all the functions of the Receptionist, Office Assistant, Public Relations Officer and Marketing Administrator. The programme includes a study of business communication; basic bookkeeping up to trial balance; cost and management accounting and computing; basic marketing and public relations; and business law and administrative practice.
IBS Professional Programme in Business Administration

This NQF Level three IBS programme offers foundations for a career in governance, business administration, law and accounting, and equips graduates for an administration function in all organisations and opens access to the Management and Administration programme (NQF Level 4).
SAIM Certificate in Business Management

This is the first programme for the SAIM professional qualification. When completing this qualification the student will be able to manage first line managers in an organisational entity. First line managers may include team leaders, supervisors, junior managers, section heads and foremen. The student will develop competence in a range of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values including: initiating,developing, implementing and evaluating operational strategies, projects and action plans to improve the effectiveness of the unit, and where appropriate, recommending change within teams and/or the unit.
CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting

This programme is CIMA’s own entry route to the CIMA Professional Qualification. It is highly valued as it provides you with the knowledge and understanding in the basics of management accounting, financial accounting and business. This knowledge is vital in today’s business environment.
CIS Professional Qualification - Programme 1: Management & Administration

This programme is the first of the CIS professional qualifications. It provides the student with practical knowledge and competence in management and administration for the workplace that can be applied in a variety of entities as well as an understanding of their philosophy and operational requirements. It also provides a step to a higher phase of learning in governance, administration and finance, and widens the learner's opportunities for advancement.
ACCA FIA Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting

This is the first programme which falls under the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA’s) new Foundations in Accountancy series. As it introduces the basics of accounting and finance and no prior knowledge or experience is required it is ideal for school leavers or even those already working in the field as accounts support who want to gain a better understanding of the accounting function and role. On completion of this programme you can fulfil a wide variety of junior accounting functions and become an integral member of the accounts department within a small to medium size organisation.

ICB Bookkeeping to Trial Balance

This is the second course in the ICB Accounting Certification Programme. It assumes no knowledge of bookkeeping and teaches the student to prepare the books of account from source documents to the subsidiary journals to the general and subsidiary ledgers, trial balance, and the bank and creditors reconciliations.

ICB Business Literacy

This is the first course in the ICB Accounting Certification Programme. It is a unique course, in that both communication and mathematics learning outcomes are covered at the same time. Effective business communication and numeracy is essential for any business practitioner. This course focuses on written and spoken communication as well as numeracy business tools such as fractions, decimal numbers, percentages, ratios, proportions, equations, interest rates and graphs.
ICB OM Cost and Management Accounting

This is the sixth course in the ICB Office Management Certification Programme. It introduces students to basic skills in cost and management accounting when running an office and making business decisions. Administrators and managers are at the helm of stock control, overhead allocation and job costing, and are often tasked to set up complex costing models which are then used for strategic and budgeting purposes. Even those individuals that are employed in a more administrative capacity, often find themselves in a position where costing needs to be done, and decisions need to be made on short notice.
ICB Payroll and Monthly SARS Returns

This is the third course in the ICB Accounting Certification Programme. It builds on a basic knowledge of bookkeeping to include a study of VAT, basic conditions of employment, RSA statutory registrations, RSA payroll calculations and accounting, SARS efiling and a study of the ethics of a tax practitioner in South Africa.
CIMA C2 - Fundamentals of Financial Accounting

This is the second course in the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting programme. It introduces students to conceptual and regulatory frameworks, accounting systems, preparing accounting statements for single entities, and the necessary controls for accounting systems. Students will be required to be aware of the format and content of published accounts but are not required to prepare them.
