How to Navigate your Course
This page is designed to get you used to the functions and features of your Online Classroom. Work through this page in your first week of your course so that by the time your first learning module is released, you would feel 100% comfortable with your Online Classroom website environment.
Your Concept Videos
These videos are designed to help you understand the important topics and concepts in your Learning Unit.
Your Question and Answer Platform
The Question and Answer Platform is the platform which will allow you as a student to be able to get in contact with your lecturer. The platform is found under your Course Resources and can be used to ask any course related queries to your lecturer. All
you have to do is click the link; this will then navigate you to our website. You will then select your course and topic. All previous questions related to your topic will be listed, but should you not find what you need, you may post your question
at the bottom of the page and click Ask.
Your lecturer will then respond to you question within 24 to max 48 hours. Most of the time you will get a response either the same day or the following morning.

Your Forums
During each unit in your studies you will see a weekly forum that you can use to chat to your fellow students. It will look like the below, introduce yourself in the forum and state why you are wanting to study this course.
You will find this forum at the start of every Learning Module where the lecturer will give a brief overview of what to expect and what to focus on in that learning module. You can post any learning module related inputs or share resource and reference
material for the lecturer or you fellow class students on this forum
Compulsory Class discussion Forum
Four topics will be posted in selective module in the online classroom and your participation in these forums will count towards your final mark.
Your Quizzes
There are a few types of quizzes that you will come across during your studies; self-test quizzes, timed quizzes and an assignment quiz.
Self-test (Practice) Quiz:
These are found at the end of every learning module and are designed in a way for you to quickly check your knowledge. They are not for marks, not timed and you can complete them as many times as you like.
Templates
At the end of some of the learning units you will find templates which you can use and apply in you actual work environment when doing projects.
Activity Submissions
You will complete eight activity submissions which you submit online to the lecturer who will review it and give you detailed feedback. You are awarded full marks for submitting your activity. These activity submissions enable the lecturer to check for
problem areas on aspects of the work which might require more guidance and focus.
Course Assessment
Your course assessment consists of 2 timed quizzes and 1 assignment.
Timed Quiz:
There are two compulsory Timed Quizzes during your studies, they are found in your Assessment Module 1 & 3. They ARE for marks, timed and you only get one shot at completing it. Do not open your quiz unless you are ready to complete it, once you open it you will only get 60 minutes to complete it. It is done as an open book assessment.
Assignment:
You will come across one assignment during your studies and it is found in your Assessment Module 2. It is for marks, not timed and you will have 7 days to complete it where you can access it to build on it as many times are you like. This is also an open book assignment.
