Accounting Technicians of South Africa as a Quality Assurance Partner of FASSET.
Credit management and control will take a look into the principles of credit management in an organisation, advising on the granting of credit, settings credit limits, collection of monies owed and the likelihood of receipts of payments. Advising on debt management and ways to minimise risk to the organisation will also be covered.
Personal Tax will work through how income tax and capital gains tax is applied to income as well as calculating income tax liabilities and income from all sources. Finally it will cover how to apply relevant allowances, deductions and reliefs to prepare accurate income tax computations.
Business Tax will look into the prepation of tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and incorporated businesses and the recognition of trading profits, making adjustments and the application of current relevant legislation.
External auditing will look at both the legislative and professional requirements and how to act as part of an audit team in planning and conducting an external audit as well as drafting working papers and a final audit report.
This is a subject that is part of a national qualification. At the end of this course you will be awarded a certificate of completion.
Student must have successfully completed the AT SA NQF Level 4 FET Accounting Technician Certificate.
