This is the first subject in the ACCA FIA Diploma in Accounting and Business Programme. On completion of this subject the student will have the understanding of business and its environment, including economic, legal, and regulatory influences such as governance, employment, health and safety, data protection and security. Qualification

At the end of this subject you will be awarded a SACOB certificate of completion. On completion of the FAB, FFA and FMA course, ACCA will award you with a Diploma in Accounting and Business.

Requirements

Grade 12 with a good understanding of English and Mathematics or the completion of the Introductory and/or Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting.

Assessment

This subject can be sat on demand, so when you feel ready to sit the exam you can do so at a Computer Based Exam (CBE) centre near you or if you?d prefer to do a paper-based exam you can do so in June and December.

*As ACCA is a professional accountancy body, it is important for them to ensure all students are aware of how to work and act in a professional and ethical manner. Because of this all students will need to complete Foundations in Professionalism. This can be done online and completed either before or after your exams.
