Description
As a CIMA Global Learning Partner, SACOB offers you the CIMA Finance Leadership Programme. The CIMA Finance Leadership Program (FLP) is a guided, digital-first learning and assessment experience. It’s your online route to the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Professional Qualification and the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation — the most relevant global finance qualification for a business career.
Entry requirements:
Operational Level: CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting
You either need to have a CIMA Certificate, be a CIMA student at Operational Level or have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Management level: CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting
You either need to have a CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting, be a CIMA student at Management Level, have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance or be a SAIPA member.
Strategic Level: CGMA
You need to have either a CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting, be a CIMA student at Strategic Level or be a member of an IFAC body (e.g. SAICA or ACCA).

Requirements
Unless you have been exempt from the previous levels, you will need to start at the Operational Level, once you have successfully completed the Operational Level Case Study, you will be able to move on to the Management Level, on successful completion of the Management Level Case Study you will be able to move on to the final Strategic Level and complete the Strategic Level Case Study.
Duration
A guide of 1 year per level is suggested so therefore on average you would take 3 years to complete the full qualification. You can work at your pace and complete it in a quicker time frame. 3 years of practical experience is required to fully receive your CGMA designation. Any relevant practical experience accumulated before you commence your studies, any you have completed during as well as after, can be used towards the Practical Experience requirement.

Assessment
On the FLP programme, you are required to complete all the learning and the competencies, and complete all the continuous assessment activities to gain access to the Case Study exam.
Each case study exam is a three hour long computer based exam. There are four windows a year when you can sit your case study exams (February, May, August and November). Within each window, exams will be available for three days from Wednesday to Friday. Exams can be sat at a Pearson Vue exam centre or at home. Information about a fictitious company is released 6 weeks prior to the exam, which forms the basis of your Case Study exam and is called the 'pre-seen material'.
