Financial Analysis / Investments
A World Class Financial Analysis Course
For an in-depth look into the world of investments, corporate finance and portfolio management, you can enrol in the CFA Financial Analysis programme, called CFA Level 1.
Students applying to study this financial analysis course need to either:
- Have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification
- Be in the final year of their bachelor’s degree
- Have four years of professional work experience
You’ll also require a valid international passport, not an RSA ID document, to write your final exam, even though these assessments are held in South Africa.
An Internationally Recognised Certification
Examinations on this business analysis course are held in June and December at a number of locations in Cape Town and Johannesburg. You can only write this paper at a recognised assessment centre and you’ll need to present an admissions ticket upon arrival. These are issued after you’ve registered your seat on the CFA website: www.cfainstitute.org.
The assessment is in multiple-choice format, and students have six hours to complete the test. No general passing score is available for these exams, as this minimum mark is freshly set for each paper by a board of governors. Please note that as an international learning programme, you can only take this evaluation in English.
